Kansai University Digital Achieve is now open and available to all users.

Kansai University Open Research Center for Asian Studies (KU-ORCAS) recently launched the β version IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework) compliant Kansai University Digital Archive(https://www.iiif.ku-orcas.kansai-u.ac.jp/).

 

The archive currently hosts the following 4 databases.

 

・ Kansai University East Asian Achieve: Includes East Asian collections held by Kansai University Library and KU-ORCAS faculty members.

・ Osaka Painting Schools (Osaka gadan) Archive: Includes Kansai University’s holding of Osaka Painting Schools related resources.

・ Hakuen Shoin Collection: Includes old collections of Hakuen Shoin institute to which Kansai University traces its origin.

・ Hakuen Seals Collection : Includes a collection of seals owned by Nangaku Fujisawa, Confucian scholar and the head of Hakuen Shoin institute.

 

In principle, all the bibliographic and image data are made available under CC0 license, and are in the public domain. We will continue adding new resources to the archive and made available to the public. Please make the most out of these resources.
